All 30 franchising teams participating in the Valorant Champions Tour 2023

Riot Games has announced the long-awaited list of teams for the Valorant affiliate program. In total, 30 teams from different parts of the globe were selected, which will take part in Valorant Champions Tour 2023. While some of the best e-sports teams, such as guards and fanatic were on the list, Other well-known parties, such as optical as well as g2 disappeared due to universal surprise. What is Valorant affiliate program?

The Valorant affiliate program is a new Riot Games initiative, in which selected teams will participate in a league format against other teams from their region. It will be called the International League, and the teams will receive some form of sponsorship/investment directly from Riot Games. Competitions will be held weekly, and the best teams from each region will receive places in global tournaments such as VCT 2023.

What happens to the teams not selected in the Valorant affiliate program?

Any teams that are not part of Valorant can still participate in global events by winning the Ascension Championship in their region. As soon as they win the Ascension Open Championship, they will be added to the Valorant affiliate program next year. It is expected that by 2027 Riot will have 14 teams in each region instead of the current 10.
