How to transfer Valorant to another disc on your PC

Many existing Valorant players mistakenly believe that they will need to download the whole game through the Riot client if they want the game to be on a different disk. But this is not so, since you can move the game from the existing place to a new volume by changing certain paths to catalogs inside some files Riotgames folder in the program data.

How to transfer Valorant from disk to another

As mentioned earlier, to transfer Valorant from one volume to another, you will need to change the installation path. To do this, follow these steps.

Open your C: disk and select Program data folder from the list. Cross and find riot of the game folder inside ProgramData . Find riotClientInstalls.json file and open it with any text editor, such as a notebook. Full catalog C: ProgramDatariot GamesriotClientinstalls.json *.

Now in the same riotgames Section folders to go to riot games metadatadanvalorant.live and open valorant.live.product_settings.yaml, again using a notebook. Change the volume of the disk in product_install_full_path and Product_install_root looks like the previous one.

Save the folder and reboot the computer. The game would move to a new disk folder.
