Europa Universalis 4 announces a new DLC Emperor

It might surprise you, but Paradox announced another DLC package for Europa Universalis 4. The last DLC pack is simply called to use. This new expansion should focus on Catholic nations, pontifical states and the papacy system, and the German Roman Empire. There are still a few details that have not yet been released, but from what we know now, it looks like one of the most impactful extensions to date.

The power of the Pope will also be extended. Previously, there was not a great incentive to try to make one of your cardinals the Pope. There was no massive gain as you would expect. However, this should change. The Pope will have much more power and privileges than before. Make sure your enemies do not control the papacy will now be crucial.

There will also be 20 new unique mission trees for various European countries. Something that should push players to a much more precise game historically rather than go outside the script. Expect to see a much more in-depth central Europe in terms of gameplay. This DLC will also include a free card update as well as other adjustments and corrections.
